San Francisco-based online payment system Stripe announced that it has enabled payments in the USDC stablecoin for freelancers.
Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire said USDC represents an inclusive way to send money to people around the world.
Stripe had been the first major payments company to enable Bitcoin support in 2015.
