Dash launched as a privacy-based blockchain in 2014 as Darkcoin. Dash described itself as a blokchain that can make anonymous transactions with private users information when it launched. Based on the promised anonymity feature, it has moved beyond just privacy-based transactions and aimed to be valid in every area where cash can be used in daily life. In line with this goal, it changed its name to DASH, inspired by “Digital Cash”. Aiming to replace cash as "Digital Cash", Dash has turned the economic problems in South America in its favor.
